IKG operates two flagship companies in this field, Aro for concrete production and Guli Biza for construction and contracting, we have over 30 years experience in the field.
At Guli Biza we aim to employ local engineers and help them to continue their career development and learn new techniques, which can help to improve the standards in the construction industry in the region.

In 2003, Aro (formerly Biza Co) was the first company to invest in a modern concrete factory facility. Aro now operates six ready mix concrete plants in the Sulaimania Governorate with a total capacity of 720m/h. We employ over 150 people across the six plants which are located in: Tasluja, Qula Raysi, Kani Shaitan, Piramagrun and Tanjaro (2).
Our ready mix concrete has been used in a variety of well know projects in both the private and public sectors. We have become a trusted partner for local companies and government, the projects we have worked on or supplied ready mix concrete to include:
- 100 projects for the Municipality of Sulaimania such as the airport, the courthouse, school buildings and roads
- University of Sulaimania
- The American University
- Garden City
- Shary Jwan
